December 3 was a colorful, crisp day in Boonsboro, Maryland, as a lively line began forming outside Turn the Page Bookstore. Holiday greens curled street posts hugged by large, cleverly created characters— adding a festive air to the early morning scene. And at noon, the line of anxious book lovers began winding their way down the steps to the area where Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb, Joyce Lamb, Anita Clenney, Grace Burrowes, Tim Snyder, and I began an afternoon of signing books, meeting and talking about writing with other enthusiastic book lovers.
