STILL not too late!! Watch how Vietnam veterans welcome home today’s veterans, part of their “Never Again” policy. (“Never again will one generation of veterans abandon another.”) We have so much to learn from Vietnam veterans, it hardly seems like one day a year is nearly enough time to honor them. Really. Interesting to find that different states and communities celebrate Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day any time— mostly from Feb through April. Maybe someday we’ll have a real national observance, but until then— this sure beats what the “celebration” was like for Vietnam veterans back in the 1960-70′s, right?
